I've enjoyed this entire series, and if you're looking at this book, you've probably already read the other four and don't need my opinion. Nevertheless, you're going to get it. This was a very fitting end to the series, and for the most part the writing stayed consistent throughout all five books. At three dollars apiece, you get a lot of bang for your buck. That said, I did have a few nits to pick. Although book four did prepare the way for the religious turn the series took, and it was well done and not at all preachy, I still felt a little irritated by it. You read three books of zombie-crunching mayhem, and then it turns into discussion after discussion about faith, religion, and what exactly did that pesky Bible say? And because the group splits up, reconnects, splits up another way, reconnects, and so on, the reader is constantly reading dialogue about events that they just read about, so the characters can know all the things that happened when they were somewhere else. Again, handled well, just kind of redundant. I have one more peeve, but I can't write about, without risking a spoiler. When it is all said and done, I really enjoyed the series and definitely would recommend it.

I really liked this series and loved the main character and all her friends and family were great individual personality.I hated and loved at the same time how some of the characters ended upbut not everyone can live right?The only thing I didnt like was it was getting a little preachy but that is all right if you are religious and she managed to blend it in so it turned out a little religion but it made sense with the story so it was cool!Also I have been to the mall of america and that was an awesome place to go with the story! Overall it was a good series and well worth the wait for the last book.Although if there happened to be a 6th one we wouldnt mind!!Hint !Hint!
Well, I’m really sad to say that I’m done with this series. I thoroughly enjoyed book after book. The unexpected twist in the ending surprised me, but that’s okay...that makes for a good book. I loved this entire series!!!
After waiting what seems like forever, finally getting to read the last book in a great series was well worth the wait! Action packed, romance, and a very sad, yet happy ending. Loved the characters and their mission to save the world from Travis and zombies alike. Kristen Middleton puts a total spin off on a Zombie Apocalypse. It may seem like a little over the top, but it does remind me of The Stand by Steven King, Great Job and I hope to read more of your books in the future!
I've been waiting for this final installment for what seems like forever and I have to say it was a great ending to the zombie games series. I noticed something people saying they didn't understand how it went from zombies to good vs evil but it was touched on in the previous book and explained in this book, I totally get it and it makes perfect sense to me. I'm so happy for cassie and Bryce. Great end to an exciting series
Loved the entire series. Great story lines. The characters became alive. I couldn't hardly put it down. I loved it more as I got to book 4 as it displaced parts like the real end of days. It sure made me stop and think about the book of revelations in the Bible. I would recommend it to all my family and friends.
Suffice it to say that I read all the books in this series. That alone says something, about how I liked them. I will only rate this last book and as you can see I gave it 4 stars. I also would give the rest of the series 4 stars, for each book. Why not 5 stars? There are times you just want the plot to move a little faster, times when the action slackens a bit, and times when it is fairly predictable.
However for a series with 5 books this one for the most part held my interest and pulled me along with the main characters. I would like a sixth book with some major surprises, that would raise the ending and give the series a bit of a punch. As i started this review saying that I have read all the books one more and I would like series to a greater extent.
When I started reading this series it quickly became one of my favorite in the genre, and I must say that the first four books were really awesome, easy reads. Kristen Middleton has a way of capturing the reader early on with her fast paced and quirky writing style, I also really enjoyed the characters in this series, all of whom were individuals and for the most part she achieved a nice character development, which really made you feel while you read the books like you were one of the survivors in this group of misfits. What happened to book 5?????? I think it fell down the same giant apocalyptic hole that features in the book.... Oy Kristen what did you do here? suddenly the plot became very thin, cliché (and even for a zombie novel) very unbelievable, this book was basically just too predictable and weak to provide any enjoyment, I struggled to finish this book and only did so in the hope that the story would redeem itself with a great surprise ending... not to be unfortunately ( Think this book has officially put me off reading any of Kristen Middleton's other novels. what a shame, this could have been so much more.
