I have to admit that the only thing I knew about Richard Branson before grabbing this book was that he was Virgin Airlines guy and that he liked to do some daredevil-type stuff. He seemed like a bit of a goof to me but, now that I have learned more, my respect for him has gone up several notches. George Ilian has put together a great overview of this incredibly interesting man, his many business successes and his different ventures over the past several decades. I also had no idea that he was an author or owned his own island. Great wealth of information here and presented well.Product details

What else can I say except that this book is incredible! Great information, and great lessons and business advice from Richard Branson. Highly recommended!
Really a booklet, not a book. Not much detail... left me hungry for why some of his business failed and why some exceed beyond expectation and I believe that was the point of the book.
This was a short, concise, and abbreviated study on Branson. The key point are clearly spelled out for quick learning.
I could read anything about Richard Branson. What a remarkable man! He never ceases to amaze me with his "limb-walking" way of life.
I wanted a summary of Richard Branson's businesses and general philosophy on success and failure. This book did a good job summarizing sir Richard Branson's accomplishments, general deal structures and philosophy. If you are looking for a "cliff notes" summary, this is a good choice.
Richard Branson is a great inspiration to me, so I just had to get this book. It really does a great job at going in-depth over his very interesting life story, but my favorite sections shared his inspiring (and very useful) business success lessons. There's tons of helpful info in here, so I highly recommend this to anyone that's interested.
To be honest, I never really knew much about Richard Branson prior to coming across this book. I have always loved reading about big entrepreneurs but never really took the time to learn about his personal story of success until now. To say the least, I'm beyond glad that I did; the book is straightforward, inspirational, insightful and ultimately it's a great introduction to this figure which has led me to even purchase a book authored by Richard himself- there's a lot to be learned from this read and I couldn't be more grateful towards the author.
